Power Apps · low-code

Power Apps is the right tool when your team already lives inside Microsoft 365 (auth, roles, SharePoint files, Teams chats) and the app is mostly forms-over-data with branching workflows. In that environment, it ships in a third of the time of a from-scratch build and is easier to evolve.

We use it where it earns its keep, not because it's a default. Recent builds: a client intake form for a law firm, a conflict-check tool with auto-routing, and a matter management console, all on Power Apps with Dataverse-backed schemas, in 3–4 weeks each.

Inside the build

What's actually included.

Canvas + model-driven

Canvas apps for highly-designed UIs (intake, dashboards, signed-off forms), model-driven for grid-and-form CRUD over Dataverse. Mixed appropriately, not religiously.

Dataverse schema design

Tables, relationships, business rules, calculated columns, security roles, all designed up front, not stitched together as the app grows. Includes a model diagram you can share with finance.

Microsoft 365 SSO + roles

Sign-in via your existing tenant, access controlled by AD groups, conditional access policies respected. No separate user database to maintain.

Power Fx logic

Business logic in Power Fx with patterns that survive an audit: naming conventions, error handling, and inline comments your next developer can read.

SharePoint + Teams embedding

Surface the app inside Teams as a tab, inside SharePoint as a web part, or as a standalone app, usually all three for the same build.

Power BI handoff

Dataverse model designed to drop into Power BI for reporting, with a starter dashboard included.

Who this is for

Companies on Microsoft 365 (E3, E5, or Business Standard with Power Apps Premium licenses) where IT wants forms-over-data apps without a from-scratch dev project. Especially good for legal, professional services, finance, and ops teams.

How we work

Three stages, no surprises.

01

Discovery

A 30-minute call to map the workflow that's actually broken. We walk you through what we'd build, what we wouldn't, and a written scope with timeline and milestones.

02

Weekly sprints

Working prototype by week 2, MVP in staging by week 4–6. Friday demo every week: you see it before it's done, not after. Slack channel + Linear / Jira board you have access to.

03

Handover + retainer

Go-live with a written playbook, training material per role, and a 30-day office-hours window. Most clients move onto a maintenance retainer for the work that comes after.
